Default confused

I just finished building my new comp. and I think i may have oc'ed wrong or something. I get random bsod, but they only stay on for like half a second and then the machine shuts off. It's an intel core 2 e6300, and an asus p5b deluxe. thanks for any advice

edit: and ps. is the core 2 e6300's multiplier locked? thanks

Perhaps your RAM is designed to run at a higher voltage, but the motherboard reduces it to 1.8v. If thats the case, raise it to the rated voltage.

And yes, the E6300 can not be raised, but some motherboards allow you to lower the multiplier.
