Default Two scans at the same time

Is it a bad idea to runs two scans at the same time g.e. a spyware and a virus scan or two virus scans (diffrent programs of course)?

No, it's not bad, it'll just slow down your comp to nothing in most cases.

By using two real-time virus protection programs at the same time, it means that you’ll be scanning each and every file twice before you are able to gain access to it.
This will slow your system down considerably and certainly, there’s always a chance that running two virus scanners will cause a conflict, especially if
both programs are set for real-time protection.
