Hey everyone, at the moment I have a Westell 327W router that we have verizon dsl. On my desktop computer upstairs I am using a Linksys SpeedBooster 802.11g Wireless Desktop Card Model: WMP54GS. I do some online gaming on my upstairs desktop computer and just normal internet usage and when I play my game and sometimes when I play my wireless connection is in and out. I may be connected for 10 minutes and then get completed disconnected and then after I find the available wireless network and get connected again, within 5-10 minutes it's doing the same thing again. I was wondering if I upgrade my wireless desktop card with one that has a higher wireless range would that solve the problem or does it apply to something within like the ip or something else. I am willing to change my downstairs router and wireless desktop card or anything else to get this fixed. If you could offer me some advice or assistance that would be greatly appreciated. If you need any links to what I have or any other information feel free to ask.
Thanks, Jeff |
