Default Audio Problem

So I have a eMachines T6528 with a new psu and a g-card.

My problem is this I just booted up WoW Burning Crusade and I am having so many problems I wanna just throw the system out the window.

First vent

To everyone I am scratchy and echoy and for some random reason it sends like static sounds from time to time when the mic is on mute.
I also can hardly hear anyone on vent.

In WoW the sounds are irratic at times its ok but quest sounds or

not there/turn in quests are sounding strange and during fights its normal then super silent.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix any of these problems? I never had any sort of audio problems before so its like "what do I do"

It has a audio manager that gives me tons of useless options that I dunno why anyone would want like "sound of a sewer pipe" sure I want my sound to sound just like its coming out of a sewer pipe.

Any help that you can give would be great thank you.

Also on the info tab it says

Audio Version - 5.10.00.5152
Audio Codec - Alc880
