I live in the USA, Michigan and here I think Nextel is the best company. It offers great coverage and direct connect for all my friends who have Nextel's. I have the I930 phone with internet and email feature. But as another member said I also think it depends on where you live and what you need from a phone! I drove down to florida last year and coverage in some states realy sucked for my Nextel but I can drive all over michigan and hardly ever lose my connection. As far as the iphone goes I bought my daughters ipods for christmas and I think they suck big time, so if that is any indication of what kind of cell phone they will make I would stay far away from them!

which is down to their initial dominance of the market, go back 5 years and nokia were making the ebst phones out there and as such took a huge amount of the market. In recent years Sony ericsson have been producing some of the most popular phones around with samsung hot on their tails. Currently sony ericsson are taking huge chunks out of nokias lead. The main reason nokia is still leading is just a historical thing. In 2004 the top seeling phones where the sony ericsson T series with their K700 in second. In 2006 the top selling phones were:
So to say that nokia is the best because they have the biggest market share is not neccesarily true, its historical and reducing very quickly

i used to have AT&T GSM and a sony P910i, and i would have to say that's the best combo i ever owned.
I switched to verizon because it's cheaper, but the selection of CDMA phones is slim, and i had to part with my p910 also, with GSM, even with the p910i, which is as much a computer as a phone, and has a HUGE screen, i had a 14-16 day battery life now with CDMA, with just a typical motorola e815m phone, i had to get a 1400mAh battery to get 10-15 day battery life GSM's WAY more efficient Last edited by heyman421; 01-17-2007 at 11:15 PM. |

We have sprint...it's okay I suppose...nights and weekends start at 7pm, and we also don't pay for roaming (it's like $5 per month, and then we don't pay per minute at all). Depending on where you live, I might recommend it. Just like with any cell phone carrier, they all have their strongholds, and they all have their weak spots.

I have Cingular, and I love them. There service on the east coast might not be as great as Verizon here. But, Cingular has better phones and they are way more efficent.
I have the Blackberry 8700c, the Cingular 8125, and the Audiovox SMT5600 for Cingular, and I love them all.
