Just bought logitech z5500 need help choosing sound card

I have just purchased a audio system the logitech z5500 and now i am considering buying a sound card but the question is will it improve the sound a lot.

I have integrated sound from my asus p5w deluxe which is ok.But i want to buy the sound blaster fatality.

Is the fatality good and is it worth the money?

Any sound card is worth your money. It all depends how much you want to spend, though

. The X-Fi series is exceptional one, and I would recommend it any day.

Well i choose the xfi elite pro and i ordered it but now how do i connect it right with my z5500.Do i still use the little receiver that came with the logitech or what?I don't know i am confused.
