Well, I would say one week for each competition. Two weeks is quite a while if you ask me.

Another thing I wanted to talk about, was the duration of each entry. 1 minute?

The Pros of having 2 weeks is more time to work on it, but some people may forget it.

It's been stuck for a few days, to promote interest

Thanks Jet.

Well, how hard can it be? It's not going to be a full song... Just a minute of solo instrument composition, related to the theme/genre.

So this is based on musical CREATIVITY, and not talent, right? Because I know we have some people on here with incredible talent, have been playing many years, etc.

And we have people like me with very little background, can not play well...but are still willing to try

Correct. All entries need to be created and composed by the person entering. This could be really fun... You never know - we could make a Computer Forum theme tune!
