if you have a registered, paid for version of windows xp but want to install it on a different computer in your house, can you?
the ONLY reason i ask is because the last time i re-installed my copy of windows i couldn't activate online, so i had to call microsoft and they asked me how many computers it was installed on in the house. seems so simple to say no and they would give you the activation number, so if you said yes would they be okay with it? |

Bootup05 is correct.
You need to purchase another license of Windows XP.
