Default k7s5a cpu upgrades

Hey guys,I have a k7s5a aswell aka(m830).I know this is an old m/bd but it runs fine for what I do. It is running a 750 duron and I received an xp2500 from a friend. Will it run this chip and what else do I need to do to get it's full potential? Thanks, john Oh,it seems I offended someone else by putting it in the wrong area.Nobodies perfect. My bad.

Unhappy No boot

I installed the 2200 but it didn't even beep.Tried several times and gave up. I put the old proc back in and it runs fine.Any ideas other than a bad proc?
