Question slow youtube

has anyone realize lately that youtubes been extremely slow at loading? It's taking me like 10 min to fully load a 3 min clip while google video loads up in like 20 seconds.

Some recent news reports may be one reason for seeing heavier traffic! One politician posted a segment for sports in one of them! Now what sport could that have been?

Yeah - I have actually had really slow downloads from YouTube ever since Google bought it... Maybe they are doing it on purpose, to make us switch to Google Video...?

Well like anything else... "when the word gets out" everyone wants a good look. If you are only seeing a slowdown at their site then note the time of day or night. You are probably arriving there when the majority of visitors are logged on watching... "something"... oh my gosh!

I didn't find watching one selection seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-tkqpHnxTI slow at all. But that wasn't one selected initially. The one there was on one of the active channels.

Why doesn't google just incorporate all the youtube videos and keep the general layout and make youtube.com redirect to Google Video?
