I'd defiantly upgrade the cpu instead of the ram. As everyone has said here you won't notice a huge benefit to having 2gb of ram over 1gb. BF2 has some noticeable gains in performance but you will see better performance with a faster cpu.

im gonna just put in my two cents *clink...clink*...lol srry...now ill put in my info i say cpu....ram helps but it kinda decreases the more u get...say from 512 to 1gig ud see a big change...but in 1gig to 2gigs it prolly wouldn't give you that much better...its kinda like a expenential decrease in improvement...your cpu has to be able to take advantage of all that ram and so it would be better to do the cpu first and formost
