Default Connect Bluetooth phone to computer

What is the cheapest way to connect my Nokia 6103 cell phone to my PCs so I can back up my phone numbers? I have a Toshiba laptop ( Win XP) and a desktop (Win 98), on a D-Link wireless network, but no bluetooth. Nokia sells a connector cord for $50. Does not sound right to me. Can I get something for the Toshiba to enable it to connect to my phone's bluetooth?

Yeah all you need is a bluetooth dongle like this one. Most/all computer and electronic stores will sell them.

How is the backup of phone numbers stored in the computer? If I lose my Nokia and get a new Samsung phone. Is the new phone with bluetooth able to copy back the stored numbers from the computer?

the easiest way would be to sync your phone with Microsoft Outlook, as most(have to check your phone connection software to see if it supports this) phone syncing software will do this, then you dont have to worry about converting the back-ups to different formats when changing phones.
