It's nice to know the make of the sound card but that's not the problem being seen there. Some other information is needed with the make and model video card at the top of the list. Something is causing a serious video lag there. Another question concerns the type of video and player used.

Through all the sharewares and freewares like SuperDVD Player and others the most reliable software found I use for viewing both dvd and vcd projects along with a large variety of file types is Cyberlink's PowerDVD. I even use that for screen shots with some pc games where other capture programs fail. One vendor has the newest version for $10 off seen at http://www.winferno-software.com/Categories/Multimedia/CyberLink-PowerDVD7-Standard/?source=003_cyberlink&TID=003&OVRAW=powerdvd&OVKEY =power%20dvd&OVMTC=standard

The version #6 used here is now even seen for far less at http://www.softwareoutlet.com/Mercha...duct_Code=6774

What make and model burner are you using there? It could be the lens in the drive itself needing cleaning or simply flaky blank media you are using! I've had vcd projects see that variations at times from bad disks.

Do you have the same thing happen when you watch something off the harddrive and not using the DVD-Rom
