Default what cpu suites me best?

hello all. I am thinking of selling my computer and doing a new build. for the cpu i wont spend more than $160, cause by the time i get rid of this computer maybe prices will be lower, so $160 is my budget. Ive also heard that the e4300 will be released for cheaper than the e6300...so anyways

ive always likes amd, for price wise and perfarmance and i like their direct connection to the ram, i do not like intels quad pumping, but thats not a real big issue....i do not play games but would like the option there if i were to choose to play. i dont want to have to upgrade for at least 3 years. i like to multi task so a dual core is a must. i will be doing lots of dvd encoding and transcoding and converting, (i heard that amd is better for raw power when it comes to dvd encoding over intel...i dont know though)....and i may do photo and/or vidio editing/rendering sometime and want that option available to me as well.

any suggestions would be fantastic...thank you again
