Default PC Probe II

Im getting into the world of overclocking and am wondering if PC Probe II is a reliable program. As well are the standard temp/fan speed monitors on my ASUS A8V-E SE reliable?

I only really use PC Probe on this comp (A8N5X mobo) and it works just fine. If you have an ASUS mobo, then i would only use it.
