i tired connecting directly to my comp from my modem... SAME PROBLEM OCCURS!

Control Panel>Network connections...

Right click on the connection and go to properties

Then click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click the properties button.

Then Make sure the Obtain an IP and DNS automatically settings are checked.

yep.. they are connected... i would try to do a direct connect w/ my modem but then i can talk to you guys if i have a problem... :\

i tried pinging www.google.com and it says

ping request could not find host www.google.com. Please check the name and try again.

tell you nething?

try pinging your gateway address! see if that does anything?

But to be honnest m8 I think your gonna have to access your modem settings to sort this mission out!
