depends on your use. For most home pc people, home premium seems to be the best choice. As for me, I'm looking at Ultimate because of the business features that i need and the media center features i want.

What features you have more for windows media center ultimate? I wonder what will be the game software and services they add to the ultimate version! Cuz me it's mostly for gaming.

In Ultimate, you get the features in business edition such as offline files/folders, Fax/Scan, RMS and the media center features that come with the home premium edition.

I would get nothing lower then Home Premium, but Ultimate would be the best if you can afford it.
