Can the Core 2 Duo beat this intel celeron d



and can it beat this intel p4

• 1024MB DRR2 SDRAM(2 Dimm)
• Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 950 with shared graphic memory
• Windows Vista Home Premium

Im half mac half pc ; )
a 700mhz dual core processor can play games smoothly without lags!!!!

Im pretty sure the X6800 can beat the Celeron as they are worse then the P4s, but im not sure about that P4....7ghz is alot.

In sheer clock speed? Probably not, but in performance probably, they have a Core 2 clocked at 5.5GHz, it probably beats the benchmark scores of both.

i doubt either of them will be stable to daily use...

Actually frequency performance scaling netburst (specifically prescott) is incredible. Clock for clock over about 3GHz prescott (P4E/S775 P4) gains more performance than northwood (P4A/B/C).

i would try to overclock my old prescott but it is already hot as it is right now lol probably wont go pass the 4ghz mark even with zalman 9500....
