so I received v3000z. it's nice light.
amd turion t-52 they put dipshit fujitsu hard drive 40gig. (gonna crash or have bad sector in a year or so, my experience with 4 fujitsu hard drives I had) if I knew they use samsung memory I would have ordered a gig. I upgraded mine to 1gig of g.skill pc2 5300 but there are some issues with mine. 1: I have gforce 6150 onboard video (mcp 430/410). I called nvidia and asked for normal operating temperature, because nowhere on the interenet is this info posted. so it's 45C-60C. mine runs on idle at around 70C. when I tried 3Dmark it got to 85C and 3dmark stoped working. 2) when I have screensaver running and it used bmp images(1mb-6mb) from my pictures folder. the pictures don't move smootly(as if one half of pic moves and the other one stays). parts of pictures lag. no that there is a huge lag. but its noticable. 3) I have a stuck pixel. one pixel is alwasy light blue. it's only seen on dark back grounds. so my lcd will be replaced. anyone knows which brands of lcds hp uses. I wanted to ask for a good one because I don't really like the vertical view angle on my current. can they fix GPU temperature or is there something I can do. like put a self made aluminum sheet on the GPU. I don't think they will do anything about GPU temp if all that is fixed then this is gonna be a perfect laptop for me. thanks. |
