Default video card question

first of all nvidia or ati radeon?
the price range of the video cars should be invidia geforce 7300 Gt pci express x16 256mb - nvidia geforce 7600 256mb pci express x16. yeah so around that price range. And by the way what is the difference between the gt and the gs is one meant for music and media and one for gaming?

Different cards are better in difference price ranges. A 7600GT is a fine card if it's within your price range.

GT and GS are just like Pro and XT(and all the other models you can find) Some just have different specs than other models.

the gt cards are much better than the gs cards but they are more expensive.

I'd go with the 7600gt...

Either one is good, they're both good companies. Currently nvidia is dominating the mid range cards with the 7600gt. The x1900/x1950 series is dropping in price and are good competitors with the 7900 series.
