Transfer of a computer program

Is there a way to transfer a computer program from one computer to another? We have tried contacting the company to get the original program, to no avail. Any ideas?

Recycled softwares? Some vendors not too common however specialize in carrying older games and desktop applications. Search online if you know the name of the program for places like amazon.com and EBay. Sometimes a disk cloning software like Norton Ghost or Acronis. It also depends on how imbedded the program is. Older dos programs were simply contained in the folders they were unpacked to by an installer. If registry values were created having the installation cd will be necessary.

What is the name of this program?

Copy folder with the program to another computer. If the program does not get started, write what a error it shows.
