256 vs 512mb?

If two cards have all the same specs except one is a 256mb and the other 512mb, would you be able to see significant differences in preformance? Would it be worth the extra couple bucks within reason?

Depends what the card is. If it's something like the x1300 or x1600PRO 512MB, then no.
