I was about to download a program when it asked me if I wanted the 32, or the 64 bit version. I have an AMD64 processor, but I have the regular, non-64 bit Windows XP Professional.
Is the download for the 64 version only for 64-compatible operating systems, or will it adjust to my processor or what? Here is a link to the download page I'm confused about- Download

It's only if you have a 64bit OS, if you dont, then get the 32 bit version.

Alright thanks omega. I had a feeling that was what it was, but then the greedy part of my brain kicked in and I started wondering if the program could be even faster...
Thanks again, I got my answer guys. Thread closed.
