If you are gaming a good deal you will probably want a Sound Blaster model over other makes for the EAX unique to Creative Labs. You will often see the option to enable or disable that feature in a good number of games out for special audio effects. What price range are you looking in? Newegg has them from $18.99 up with the start off with one model only being two channel capable(nnaaaa....). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...SubCategory=57

But since they don't ship to Canada, I'll add a look at TigerDirect.CA seen at http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...|c:107|&Sort=4

That shouldn't be a bad model with the 5.1 surround soiund there. The Audigy 2s are avoided here however. Currently I've seen great results with an Audigy 4 Pro. When looking around newegg had the best price. The closest to that was either at mwave.com for the 5.1 model there or at the link found for the 7.1 model seen at http://www.thetechgeek.com/content/product.php?pid=9062

Hope it goes on good there! If you get stuck with a driver problem(typical Creative there) one thing I found was closing the new hardware found wizard right away and waiting until Windows was fully loaded. Then you manually use the add hardware wizard to have Windows copy and install the drivers followed by later installing the software. It helps get those WDM drivers to stay in better for some reason.
