Firstly what type of RAM is this? Im guessing it's either SDRAM or DDR since they are 256MB modules.

Anywho, make sure you detach the latches on the sides of the RAM before trying to get it out. Also, you pull it from the left and right side, not in the middle on the front and back of the module.

Thats odd, usually when you push the taps down they almost pop out! You push kinda down and out on the tabs

You have to use alittle force (not) a lot and it should pop in and the tabs lock, then you push the tabs inward to make sure it locked. The tabs have to be pushed out when you put the ram back in and they pop up

it still refuses to go in I can see the golden part at the bottom sticking out try putting it in 3 different ways right side first, left side first, and just straight down same outcome.

The notch in the ram is slightly over to one side not in the middle, sure your not trying to put it in backward
