OK so my sister is getting rid of her old computer, and i needed the cd drive from it so while i was taking that I decided I would take her memory as well, it fits into the extra slot that I have.
now my question is does adding that second peice of ram make my computer faster? both the original and the other are DDR and I believe they are the same size. Sorry if this is a dumb question or if it isn't clear, but Im new to the whole working on computers thing, just tell me if you have any question about what I am saying |

Yes in most cases it should make it go faster. Always make sure that the RAM slots are identical before attempting to put it in.
