Default DVD+R Install.

Well i took out my old CD+RW and put in my new Liteon DVD+R that i bought i set the DVD+R to Master and my DVD ROM drive to Slave.. i start up the comp everything is good.. but i put a dvd into the DVD ROM drive and it wont load it. it wont load ANYTHING. i go to my computer and it shows both drives as default "CD ROM" when it should show "DVD+R" and other drive "DVD-ROM" but it doesn't. but if i unplug the DVD ROM drive it shows the DVD+R just fine. they are on the Secoundary IDE cables. which it worked fine with the CD+RW i dont know what the problem is.. has anyone had this problem?

I am just a beginner to this dvd burning
but I just installed a pricewatch dvd.
It came as a slave, and installed it that
way.
I would reinstall yours that way.

Be sure to keep whatever Master/Slave/CS setting you had on the CD-RW.
