hi i have a dell inspiron 8100. The CPU fans run at 100% Constantly. They never slow down. I tried gettin into the bios to change settings, but there were none. I downloaded this program, and it says my cpu is constantly running at 185 degrees farenhiet. What is wrong. It started doing this after i formatted the drive and installed XP pro instead of home..
any ideas??? |

Open up your case, and check to see if the fans have a lot of dust on them. If so, clean the fans off with a compressed air can. You should see some improvement with the temperatures.
