Default What do i do with all this stuff?

ok i happen to have a closet full of old computer hardware. ive got a box full of old RAM ranging from 32mb-256mb theres about 50. about 15 old generic soundcards, oldass video cards, cdrom drives floppydrives, about 5 harddrives only 1-5 gig and a 40 giger, 10-15 ethernet cards, 56k modems >.<
2 17 inch dinosaur moniters, about 5 motherboards (OLD) and several processors 1 pentium4 1.4Ghz, 1 pentium4 1.3Ghz and the others i dont know the speed. the same with most of the otherstuff. all this stuff is like 3-4 years old and completly out of date. is there anything i can do with it? i would hate to just throw it all away but ive had an extremly hard time trying to sell it.

Well if you could rebuild some of them you could start folding on them (Folding@Home: CF Official Team) and you could use the 40 GB HDD as a backup drive.

Or just give some of it to me!

i am kinda in a tight spot at the moment and was hoping to put this twords rent >.<. is there any chance of getting any money out of any of it? im not to tech savy, i mean i can assemble a computer but thats about as far as my knowledge goes. and i havent built one or even tinkered for about 3-4 years now i am completly out of the loop. i looked on ebay and it looks like even ebay doesnt want it. i mean 128 ram cards goin for 1.50. if i were to post a list of everything would that be more of a help? when i say i have alot of this stuff i have ALOT. my step father used to have his own computer store but that was again 3-4 years ago and he gave all the stuff to me when he closed shop that is were it all came from. this may sound somewhat odd but ive heard of people taking the gold out of old computer hardware but i have no idea how to do that.

If you can piece together an working computer with those parts, me and my friend MIGHT be interested in buying it (ONLY if it's a whole computer in working condition, specs don't matter).

How much would you want for RAM, processors, mobos, and all of the cards?

I don't mean to interfere with you getting rid of these parts but to sell stuff through CF you need 100+ posts, maybe you could start an EBay auction and then post the link to that.
