Default Unable to boot windows!?

..hello..
..ok..here is my problem..
..last night i worked on my PC and everything was fine, when i was done i properly shut it down..
..this morning when i started it up (usually i start him by pressing the mouse button but he didn't respond) i got the message that at the last start up something went wrong and windows didn't load properly and i was given an option of choosing a few different star mods (few safe mods, last known good configuration, and start windows normally)...if i was to choose "start windows normally" the PC would just stand and do nothing and was no long able to do anything...if i was to choose any other option few commands would be listed and then i was again not able to do anything..
..the next thing i tried was to boot it up from a DVD.....he would start..blue screen shows up..he loads all the drivers and stuff and at the moment where i should be able to choose what i want to do (repair, new installation.....) he reports that he's unable to load some file for keyboard and says to restart or shuttdown..
..and now i have no idea what happened and what to do!?..
..pls help..

..PC is brand new..

RAM 2x512 MB
HDD Western Digital 320 GB
VGA n VIDIA GeForce 7600GT, 256 MB

perhaps your operating system was corrupted, is formatting the hard drive an option. If it is do that and try to install windows. If that isn't an option try to boot from a floppy disk or some other removable media of that sort.

..thanks for the answer..
..i tried to format the HD but i'm not able to get to that point..as i said above when i boot windows from a DVD they come to a point where i should be offered options to choose what i want to do but then windows report an error that they can't find some file associated with the keyboard and tell me to restart or shut down..
..what is the other way of formating the HD then trough the windows installation!?.

you could use a win 98 startup disk (floppy disk), thats what i always use as a last ditch effort.

I don't think that the keyboard is the problem (but i did try another one anyway) because the keyboard works fine when i want to choose the mode to start in or when i restart the PC or stuff like that..
..well anyhow my PC is at the shop now getting repaired and if everything goes as planed it should be finished tomorrow and i'll post what was the problem if anybody is interested....thx for your ideas..

..well my PC is finally home!..
..the expert diagnose was "bad windows installation"..all they did was restori the windows without formating any disks or anything..
..ofcourse they blamed my illegal version of the windows for all..

..once again thx to everyone for help..
..if any1 has some ideas or suggestions what to do to make sure this doesn't happen again they are more than welcome..
