If its onboard graphics, it doesnt matter if its 64MB or 256MB, it wont help gaming performance.

I'll have to disagree with that Omega. I have a ATI Radeon Xpress 200M with 256MB shared memory and it can push World of Warcraft maxed out. Shared video memory will never be as nice as a good quality desktop video card but can be decent if you don't need a ton of power.

Switch is down to 128MB and tell me if you notice a difference.

It will never improve performance having 256MB of shared video RAM over 128, or even 64MB on lower end integrated chips.

The GPU simply isnt powerful enough to render high quality textures to take advantage of the extra VRAM.

Also, if you're playing WoW maxed out with an Xpress 200M, then you must either be at a low resolution, not have AA enabled, or have extremely low framerates.

If thats his laptop, it has 256MB dedicated memory, with another 256MB available for turbocache. And also, you cant set how much you want, it uses the turbocache only if it needs it.
