Ok I have this red and white power wire and this blue and white reset wire, which are both obviously connected to their respetive buttons on the front of the tower. My question is where do I plug these in on the motherboard?

There is a front panel header on the motherboard where they are connected. On newer motherboards the headers are color coded and labeled so you can connect them without a manual, otherwise you should refer to your manual for the location of the headers and how to connect them.
