Hey guys I want to set up a form of dual boot with xp vista and linux. I have been on the web and cant seem to find reliable instrucations is it possible to do this? Vista is my primary os and i want to boot to all of them...

Wouldn't that be more than a dual boot
![]() If you simply set the different partitions accordingly you shouldn't have a problem. Or even use different hard drives. Then just fine some boot manager and select which partition to be active.

haha ya its more then dual boot its kinda tripple boot I just dont really like the vista cd burning and nero tends to not work well with it.... just want to have the abiliy to open xp and use it or even play in linux occasionally

what you need is a boot loader, try googling GRUB, LILO, etc, start here. I have personally had GRUB load 3 OSes and 3 Virtual OSes for me before.
