The error says Runtime code is uncompressed. What does that mean. Because my computer won't boot. It's a HP a230n

The runtime code is uncompressed into memory type error would be seen on an AMI Bios on the older model HP there. The specifications can be seen at http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/pr...iliona230n.pdf

There are number of codes for this type of error. While you are mostly either in need to a new Lithium battery for the board, an update of the bios programming, or seeing a hardware problem one AMI error code list is seen at http://www.icop.com.cn/tech/dmp-hw/b...Post_Codes.pdf

If you are seeing the cpu and case fan running but without any attempts at booting being seen another thought is a shaky supply with a bad cap. If you can post the exact error as seen that could be a help. But on a system 3-5yrs. old a $2-3 battery or reflash of the bios to the last update could see it running again.
