Quick Question about TV Tuner Card

Hey guys - quick question.

Will my PCI TV Tuner card work with one of those portable 'bunny ears' antenna? Will it work just as well as my antenna on the roof?

I believe so. It may need to be a powered antenna but i'm not sure.
