Default Cannot delete file in Viat 'file name too long'

I downloaded a file from limewire, and when i try to move or delete the file, i cant, a message says that it cannot be deleted because the file name is too long, however i can not re name the file - anyone have any suggestions?

I have checked to see if it a virus and it is not

Cut the file into the root
C:\ and try to delete it
Other option is google a tool called unlocker and try to rename or delete the file.

The error you get is because the path is too long.
Try moving it into the root and then delete.
or try to rename it first.

get all the files you want from the shared folder out and open cmd
write without the quotes "del shared".
