I'm trying to build a medium to high performing gaming rig and I need a good, but cheap mobo for it so I can keep the final price below $1200
I need the mobo to support... Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz (1066 mhz bus) 2 gigs of some ddr2 800 (pc2 6400) memory and... suppport for a high end PCI Express x16 NVidia video card such as GeForce 8800GTS please help me out |

no, actually I already have a case and a video card (the 7600 Gt over clocked), but I was thinking of getting a better one. I also have a monitor which is actually a wide screen hdtv 1280-768 or something in that manner. would you recommend any other motherboards?

i would go with any of these three. Gigabyte is a good, reliable name brand... and the budget is good as well...

early may because of a load of intel price cuts and new C2D models and many more options. itll be fun in early may, best time to build in a long time IMO
anyway go with the P965 DS3 or S3
