Default premier pro help with animation

hi ive finally built a new computer with a p4 so i can run adobe premier 2.0 now does any one else also use this program and do you know how to select lots of pictures ( in an animation ) ( on the timeline ) and squeze them together so it plays faster ?

yhyh its just the plain program ive got at the moment ive got elements aswell but do i need it ?

No I was just double checking.

Anyway I would just try deleting some of the frames.

ohh i know there is a way of selecting the whole bar of pics on the timeline and compressing them so they play faster ( each frame is diplayed fro less time )

Here I found this in the help file for elements 2.0

1. In the Timeline or Media panel, select a clip.
2. Choose Clip > Time Stretch.
3. In the Time Stretch dialog box, click the Link button to unlink speed and duration. When linked, changing the duration also changes the playback speed of the clip.
4. Type a new duration, and click OK.
