Default Chipset : nvidia VS intel

Is it true that nvidia/ATi chipset provides a better color and brightness than intel chipset, especially for 3D gaming ?

Quite sometime ago I saw a comparison showing this at AMD website (www.amd.com).

Thank you.

I'm sorry I don't think I comprehend the question clearly.

One thing that I should say is that you must take ANYTHING coming from the manufacturer's own site which compares it to a competitor with a grain of salt. In advertising, an ad requires only a touch of truth to create a mountain of support.

Now, it sounds like you are talking about graphics. So, for chipsets and 3D gaming you would probably be looking at a graphics card, not comparing integrated graphics.

Care to elaborate, or else find the mentioned article/comparison?

The chipset doesnt make a difference in quality of the picture, that depends on the video card.

The quality of the picture depends on the video cards GPU, but if you compare the same video card on 2 different motherboards with 2 different chipsets say Nvidia vs. VIA then mabe one (board) as a whole might be faster!

I kinda forgot if the comparison were IGP or not. But I guess it was IGP. I can't find the link anymore, if I find it I'll post it.

Yeah, I thought it depends on the card too instead the chipset.
