Default USB driver problems

When I try to install the USB drivers, it says "An error occured while copying the files" I've tried over 100 times but still cannot figure out the problem. Can anyone help me please?

The specifications:
Windows 2000 Professional
USB-> VIA Rev 5 or later

Default Are you talking about USB2 drivers?

Could you let us know what drivers u are trying to install? USB2?

The drivers are "VIA Rev 5 or Later" and it's USB 2.0
