Default are these parts good for my new gaming pc??

is this going to be a good gaming pc?? it will be built with these components:

hdd, dvdrw, dvd rom, fans, cards, graphics card from this pc but getting all this new.

btw the graphics card is a 9800pro, not egtting a new one for a while so can u guys tell me if thes parts im thinking of getting are going to be good and fast together??

ya nice, but u r going to up that to at least a gig right, not just 512?
maybe use PCI Express too.

ye i will get another 512 stick when i have more cash

its just people say that the 3000 64bit is slow

true or are they just talking crap?

Mostly crap. My 2600+ is not at all slow. But of course it depends on resolution and what game you play. And maybe personal preferences. Some can't seem to stand a slight lag when their 1600x1200 screen is filled with explosions.
