Default Blue Screen of Death?

My PC crashes unexpectedly while playing games...
PC would freeze for a few second, then I get a brief glimpse of blue screen with what seems to be explanation for the crash, but even b4 I get to read what's on the screen, the PC automatically reboots...
I was wondering if there's a way to stop the PC from rebooting so I can have a look at what's on that blue screen.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

yep, follow what kof said. If you're on vista, it's most likely a sound card driver error..(I don't know why, but it's been happening to a few of my friends alot. luckily, one of them has a dell figured it out by downloading all the dell vista drivers and experimenting every time to see which one fixed it.)

so yea, try that

If its only on games it sounds like its a software issue. But you can never rule out a problem with your hardware. Do as kof said and then establish the cause.
