Unhappy Computer will not start

I built my computer over a year ago with no issues whatsoever... until this morning. When I woke up I found my computer appeared to be off. The monitor was black and showed a little icon indicating no signal. I thought my computer was off, but the power light was on and I could hear fans running. The power button did not shut it down, but the switch on the back of the power supply did. I left it sitting for fifteen minutes or so and tried to turn it on. It sounds normal at first, that is you can hear a fan running and the power light comes on. But, literally no more than two seconds after I push the power button the computer shuts off. I tried again, several times. But, it does the same thing and sometimes it doesn't attempt to come on at all, or the light only comes on for a fraction of a second. I tried plugging the computer in straight to the wall, bypassing the surge protector, but I get the same result. Any idea what the problem might be? Has this happened to anyone here and what did you end up having to do to fix it? I would appreciate any help you can give me. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but here's the specs of my computer:

Have you tried a different power supply, also your computer will not start up if you have bad memory, see if you can try your RAM in a friends computer and maybe run Memtest.
