Unhappy Problem with MP3 player

Hello guys,

i am new to this site and this is my first post. So, I am not sure that i am posting in the right place.

I have a problem with my MP3 player. I am a regular user of MP3 player and I didnt use it for 1 week. Today when I tried to turn it on, it didnt work. I tried it once again. But the same result. so i plugged it to charge. Then the adaptor showing the green light, means it has enough charge to work and the MP3 player is showing the sign of charging with a light in it. But still I can't turn it on. Someone please help me.

Thank you.

If its rechargeble that the battery might be no good anymore.
Tried replacing the battery and recharging it?

Okay can you post a link to your MP3 player so that we know what youve got?

Rechargeble batteries dont last forever so i think it could be just the battery needs replacing now....how many times would you say youve recharged the battery?
Just a rough guess?

how long ago did you buy this?

It should have least come with some guarentee..if so take it back soon as possible and get a refund.

but if your guarentee is up then i think the only thing you can do is purchase another rechargeble battery...i cant think of what else it could be sorry

what size batteries does it take?

AAA?
AA?

if its rechargeable, then its not AAA or AA. try using a different charger, that might help.

AAA and AA batteries come in rechargeable formats. Ive had wireless mice that come with rechargeable AAA batteries that way you wouldnt stick in your batteries and put it on the dock (aka charger) and have your batteries explode and then be able to sue them.

As for the problem, I dont think its the batteries, most mp3 players I have dealt with will turn on without the battery, all it has to be is plugged in. Granted, if you could tell us the make/model of the mp3 player then we could get you more info about this.

It could also be your charger, got a multimeter? Check to make sure the charger is putting out the correct voltage.

Then again, what you dont want to hear, your mp3 player is dead. Like Nevakonaza said, check for a warranty of some kind.
