80 Gb in a SIS 530 Motherboard

Hi I was wondering if a 80Gb HD works in a SIS 530 Motherboard w/ AMD K6-2 400 mhz processor. If is supported by it, and if is not, if is a way to split the disk in more partitions to make it work. Txs.

It should support an 80GB drive, but you need to make sure that it's the right type (PATA, SATA, SCSI, etc.).

This motherboard has an ATA Connection, do I need to know something else?

Just make sure you buy the correct PATA (IDE) hard drive, and not a SATA or other type of drive.
