Default 680i NB and SB question

from these pictures: http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...px?i=2869&p=13

Okay so here are my questions:

The NB is right next to the CPU with the fan on it, correct?

And the SB is at the other end of the heatsink, correct?

So all that needs to be cooled when OCing are the CPU, NB, and SB, correct?

thanks

The main things you need to cool are the CPU, NB, RAM, and Voltage regulators (around the CPU).

okay, so on the 680i, is the NB the thing right next to the CPU, and the SB at the other end of the stock HS?

ok sweet, thanks.

i have dealt with the heatsink on the 680i before and have removed it to reapply the thermal paste, however in the future i am planning to replace the HS altogether. I noticed that there is a 4 push pin setup for the NB HS and a 2 push pin setup for the SB HS. However, most aftermarket NB HS have a two push pin setup, would this be a problem? or is it just a matter of "as long as it is secure and makes good contact?

and for the SB i will use AS thermal adhesive. is this stuff reliably strong and will it provide adequate heat transfer?
