can you put an ati pci-e graphics card in an sli motherboard? Thanks

You can't run crossfire, but yes, you can use a single card in an Nvidia chipset.

As TOO said, you can use an ATI video card in an SLI motherboard, but you cant use ATI's multi-gpu technology.
