Hi all. nero stopped working for me a while ago and ive been trying to install different versions since. i have no version of nero installed on my comp now, it has been wiped out. i am trying to install it fresh.

i download and try to install nero. it goes thru the product setup, and install then gives me this message:

"in order to install the latest updates it is necessary to uninstall the old version first. blah blah about restarting."

so if i hit cancel, installation stops. if i hit ok, it says 'this action is only valid for products that are currently installed' and then stops

so what do i do? i really need nero, or atleast a program that works pretty much exactly like nero vision, with the same quality (like when mixing and converting).

this version i am currently trying is the nero trial version 7.7.5.1. i have tried a few others and have gotten the same result. ANY help would be really appreciated. thank you..

Download this and use it to remove what ever is left behind by the nero you install before. then try to install it again
