Default Convert DRM protected WMA to DRM protected MP3

I just got a new 4Gig YP-Z5 MP3 player for my birthday and I have a lot of songs on it, but I want more and I heard MP3 is a better compression method than WMA the only problem is, is that they're protected by DRM copy protection. So I'm wondering if it is possible to convert them to MP3 while leaving the protection on them so they are still legal is this possible? If so I need a list of software that can accomplish the job for me. Any Ideas?

wma is mpeg 4, mp3 is mpeg 1

you'd be much, much better off leaving them in wma format

if your mp3 player has plays for sure, you should be able to play protected WMA. Is it an ipod or some other brand?

Hi, do hope my answer is not late. I think if you have a PC. TuneClone is more suitable for you. As long as you can play the music you have, you can use TuneClone to convert them to MP3,WMA formats. Moreover, TuneClone uses a virtual CD-RW , so the output quality is fine .
