Default Very quick question about swapping sound cards....

Hello all, I am about to swap out my crap Turtle Beach Riviera for an Audigy 4. Do I need to do anything to disable the TB drivers or can I just swap the cards and Install the Creative software and it will work fine? Thanks in advance.

if you can I would suggest uninstalling the software for your old sound card. If you can't its not a big deal. Just install your new sound card and install the drivers and you should be good to go.

Okay, thanks for the input. I uninstalled it through the start menu and went to add/remove and it uninstalled something else and told me to reboot. I swapped the cards and installed the drivers and everything is good I think. There's just one weird glitch I think I'm having. The EQ works find but under "speaker settings" it has a bass boost that's set to 0% by default and it wont let me adjust the slider. There's a box to check to enable bass boost but it wont enable, it's like it's locked out. I'm getting bass and all of the wires are hooked up correctly to the card. The bass sounds a lot cleaner then my old Turtle Beach card but it's not as loud or deep. Why can't I access bass boost? Any ideas? Thanks.
